Our Beliefs

At First Baptist Church of McDonald, we believe that we are Saved to Serve. We believe in God:

  • The Father,

  • The Son,

  • The Holy Ghost.

We believe that Jesus was born to a virgin and lived a sinless life. We serve a risen Savior who died on the cross that we might be saved. Salvation is free. All you need is faith to receive it.  The church is not the physical structure, but the people within it.
We are called to “go and make disciples” (Mark 28:16-20). We strive to watch over one another in brotherly love, to remember each other in prayer, and to spread the Good News of Jesus’ love.
We welcome all visitors with the love of Jesus. We pray that His spirit is felt when you walk through the doors. Feel free to worship and praise Him with us. If there is anything that we can do to support, encourage or join with you on your walk with Him, please let us know.

Matthew 28:16-20 16 Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17 When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
